In as much as peer pressure may sound as an fathomable thing, it is to some extend important for individual growth if one is exposed to positive influence. It can be a path of self-discoveries and creativity when adaptation of someone else’s script of happiness is not involved.

The fastest way to know if you are under the negative effect of peer pressure is analyzing your chase, does it bring  fulfillment and wholeness to you as an individual. This can serve as an eye opener on knowing if what you are doing was motivated by desire for personal growth or the egoistic need for importance which can be categorized with how much the outer man if pleased by you.

Navigating peer pressure as an adult needs a lot of self-awareness and assertiveness. Here are some of the strategies to manage and overcome the influence of peer pressure.
